Punjab TET Notification 2018
Every year massive number of applicants is gaining opportunity from this TET examination. Teacher Eligibility Test was conducted by the central government and state government every year in various states. Presently, the Punjab government releases the PSTET for the Primary Level Teachers and junior level teachers to recruit the teachers in the state Punjab. The Punjab State Teachers Eligibility Test was conducted by the Punjab School Education Board in accordance with the provision of Sub-Section (1) of Section 23 of the RTE Act. Teachers in the Punjab are recruited by conducting the PSTET. Through Punjab TET teachers from class 1 to class 8 are selected. The PSTET conducts the Paper I and Paper II examinations, whereas paper I is for class 1 to class 5 and Paper II is for class 6 to class 8. The main aim of conducting this PSTET is to fulfil and achieve the goals of “Right of children to free and compulsory Education Act”. The teachers who are already working may also participate in this PSTET. This TET examination was first conducted in the year 2011 by the government of India. The teachers who are working should clear the TET examination in two years. Applicants can choose whether they participated in paper 1 or paper 2. Applicants who are applying for the PSTET Recruitment 2018 for the primary level teacher, they must pass the class 12th with 50% marks and should possess a diploma in elementary education and passed 12th class with 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year for B.El.Ed. for junior level teacher applicants should passed or appearing in final year of Diploma in Elementary education or graduation with 50% aggregate and passed B.Ed or graduation with 50% marks and passed and appearing in final year for B.El.Ed. Candidates to participate in either Paper I or Paper II you must pay the application fee of Rs.600/- for General/OBC, Rs.300/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
