Eligibility Criteria for Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2025

Navik (General Duty):

Class 12th passed with Maths and Physics from an education board recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).

Navik (Domestic Branch):

Class 10th passed from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).

Yantrik:

Class 10th pass from a recognized education board (approved by the Council of Boards for School Education – COBSE)
AND
A 3-year or 4-year Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics / Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Class 10th & Class 12th pass from a recognized board (approved by COBSE)
AND
A 2-year or 3-year Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics / Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering approved by AICTE.

Indian Coast Guard Age Limit 2025 (as on 01-08-2025)

For the Indian Coast Guard, the age limit is 18 to 22 years (Nvk(GD) for 01/26 & 02/26 batch: Candidate should be born between 01 Aug 2004 to 01 Aug 2008. Yantrik for 01/26 batch: Candidate should be born between 01 Mar 2004 to 01 Mar 2008.Nvk(DB) for 02/26 batch Candidate should be born between 01 Aug 2004 to 01 Aug 2008.).
