The selection process of recruitment to the posts of Central Police Sub Inspector and Delhi Police Sub Inspector conducted by Staff Selection Commission will be conducted in 3 phases. Written tests will be conducted in the first phase. In the second phase, the Physical Standard Test / Physical Endurance Test of the candidates will be conducted. In the third phase, a written examination of the candidates will be conducted. After that the candidates will have a detailed medical examination.

Delhi Police SI Selection Process 2024
The Delhi Police SI selection process will be conducted in three phases.
- First Stage: Written Examination (Paper-1) (Objective Type) (200 Marks)
- Second Stage: Physical Endurance Test (PET), PST and Medical Test
- Third Phase: Written Examination (Paper-2) (Objective Type) (200 Marks)
Delhi Police SI Exam Pattern: Paper-1
- Paper-1 consists of 4 parts: (A) General Intelligence and Reasoning, (B) General Knowledge and General Awareness, (C) Quantitative Aptitude, (D) English Comprehension.
- Each part will have 50 questions and each question will carry 1 mark. The exam duration is 2 hours.
- There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-1, but there is no negative marking for unanswered questions.
- In paper-1, objective type multiple choice questions are asked, all subjects except English Comprehension will be asked in both Hindi and English languages.
- The candidates receiving NCC ‘C’ certificate will be awarded a 10 number bonus.
- 06 numbers will be awarded as a bonus to the candidates receiving NCC ‘B’ certificate.
- 04 numbers will be awarded as a bonus to the candidates receiving NCC ‘A’ certificate.

Delhi Police SI Height:
- For Male Candidates: 170 cm
- For male candidates from Garhwal, Kumaoni, Himachal Pradesh, Gorkha, Dogra, Maratha, Kashmir Valley, Leh and Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir, North Eastern State and Sikkim: 165 cm

- Eye sight: Minimum distance vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of two eyes without glasses.

Delhi Police SI Document Verification
Document verification will be done after passing the medical examination. Candidates should have original certificates in document verification. All candidates eligible for document verification are required to appear for document verification along with photo copy and original documents. During document verification, candidates have to indicate the positions / forces for which they should be considered in order of preference. The details of various posts are as follows:

Delhi Police SI Minimum Qualifying Marks
The minimum qualifying marks in Paper-I and Paper-II (without adding bonus marks for NCC certificate holders) are as follows
- Unreserved Category: 30% minimum
- Other Backward Classes / Economically Weaker Section: 25% minimum
- For all other Category: 20% minimum
- A Physical Efficiency Test is required for all the candidates but it will be qualifying only and will not be added to the merit list. Ex-servicemen are not required to undergo PET.
- Only candidates who qualify in PET / PST will be allowed to appear in the Paper-II examination.
