SSC Junior Hindi Translator Eligibility 2025

Junior Translator/Senior Hindi Translator/Sub-Inspector (Hindi Translator):

Candidates must fulfill any one of the following educational qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Hindi or English, with English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
OR
Master’s Degree in any subject, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
AND
Must have a recognized Diploma or Certificate course in Translation from Hindi to English and vice versa
OR
Two years of experience in translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central/State Government Offices including Government of India undertakings.

Senior Hindi Translator:

Candidates must have any one of the following qualifications:

A Master’s Degree in Hindi, with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
OR
A Master’s Degree in English, with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
OR
A Master’s Degree in any subject (other than Hindi or English) with:
- Hindi medium and English as a compulsory/elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
- OR English medium and Hindi as a compulsory/elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
- OR Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level.

AND
One of the following:

A recognized Diploma or Certificate course in Translation from Hindi to English and vice versa.
OR
At least three years of experience in translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central/State Government offices or Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).

SSC Junior Hindi Translator Age Limit 2025 (as on 01-08-2025)

For SSC Junior Hindi Translator Age Limit 2025, the age limit is 18 to 30 years (candidates born between 02.08.1995 and 01.08.2007).
